Where do you find your applicants? We find our applicants through many different sources including personal referrals and candidates who are strongly recommended by families who have worked with them.

How long does it take to find someone? It varies from family to family. Many families love the first person they meet however, we encourage families to meet other candidates to be able to make a confident decision. On average around 2-4 weeks.

What is the appropriate salary? There are many factors that determine what salary should be offered including, job requirements, benefits, experience and education of candidate. Below is on average:

Both Full Time and Part Time employees earn between  $30 and up per hour. 

What is your placement fee? Our one-time placement fee is 12.5% of the gross annual salary.  

Do your candidates pay a fee to register? No, we do not charge our candidates any fees.

What else should a family consider in an offer?  In addition to salary,  professional nannies and household staff receive:

• Paid Vacation
• Paid Holidays, Sick and Personal days
• Gas/Mileage reimbursement (if they use own car)
• Yearly bonus  
• Other benefits may include a healthcare stipend, cell phone for work use

Do you place temporary positions? Yes, we do temporary placements. 

​What towns do you serve? We currently serve all of Fairfield county and quickly moving beyond! Towns included but not limited to are Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, New Canaan, Newtown, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Rowayton, Rye, Stamford, Scarsdale, Weston, Westport, Wilton, and Westchester county. We also now service South Florida towns including Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Key Biscayne and Miami.

What is your privacy policy? We do not share, sell or rent lists of any kind that contains information collected from either the client or an applicant. All information is confidential and is the property of The Oak Tree Agency.
